Dr. Scott Howell
Dr. Scott Howell has served in various executive positions within healthplans, delegatedmedical groups, direct-care delivery, and healthcare policy for 30 years. Dr. Howell is board certified in Family Practice, Preventative Medicine and Public Health, andAddiction Medicine. He received a Masters in Economics from the University of Miami, aMasters in Public Health and Tropical Medicine (MPH&TM) from Tulane University, and aMasters in Business Administration (MBA) from California State University Fresno.Dr. Howell served in the military for 25 years, with his last assignment in the Office of Secretaryof Defense (OSD) at the Department of Defense Inspector General (DoDIG), Special Plans andOperations (SPO), where he concentrated on the Wounded Warrior Program, BioAssurity, andEbola Outbreak Assessments.Dr. Howell has published peer-reviewed articles on both finance and medicine.
